Stephen Peacock is a licensed real estate associate with SVN Saunders Real Estate | Forestry Group, specializing
in timberland and conservation.
He maintained certification as a Professional Wetlands
Scientist (PWS) from the Society of Wetlands Scientists and is certified by the
Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) to relocate protected, listed
species.
With experience in public service as assistant county
administrator for Pinellas County, he directed one of the State’s first county environmental
land acquisition programs. He was co-owner of King Engineering, where he
managed the environmental and permitting efforts.
Stephen is a native Floridian and owner of Peacock and
Associates, an environmental consulting firm that specializes in the
preparation of development permits for wildlife surveys and management plans
and the development of Regional Impact Statements, Water Management Agency, and
US Army Corps. of Engineers for developers in the Tampa Bay region.
In addition, he assists major landowners with the sale of
large vacant tracts of land to various State and local government land
acquisition programs in the Tampa Bay area.
He is licensed by the US Fish & Wildlife Services
(USFW) and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) as a Master
Falconer and has served as regional director of the Florida Hawking Society.
Stephen is a former member of the Pasco Land Acquisition and Management
Committee, where he served for four years.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in natural science,
majoring in wildlife biology/ornithology from the University of South Florida.
Stephen lives in New Port Richey, Florida. He has a
daughter and one granddaughter.
