Robert Brathune is the founder and managing broker of Atlantic Commercial Properties. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Robert graduated with honors from the United State Naval Academy in 1973. He served as a carrier-based fighter pilot with VF33 aboard the U.S.S. Independence. Brathune’s business career began as a selectee for W. R. Graces First General Management Development Program. Making a career change in 1984 Brathune left his position in the Measurex Corporation as the Sales Manager of the Industrial Systems Division East and entered the commercial real estate business. 

Brathune has had a breadth of experience in all areas of commercial transactions including office; industrial; retail; land both leasing and sales, as well as investment brokerage. Brathune developed a 14,000 square foot office building, which serves as the company’s headquarters and has been an active investor as well. 

Brathune is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designee and a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) candidate. He is a past president of the Commercial Investment Division of Northeast Florida Association of Realtors and a past president of the Jacksonville Commercial Alliance of Realtors. Licensed as a real estate instructor, he has written and taught a course to the public entitled "Fundamentals of Commercial Real Estate Brokerage" and a seminar entitled "Success Strategies in Leasing Commercial Office Space." 

Brathune is licensed in both Florida and Georgia as a commercial broker.
