Ralph Walker, President of Walker Commercial, Inc., has been active in real estate development and construction since 1975. He received the CCIM designation in 1978, has served as President of a Board of Realtors, and has been awarded Realtor of the Year. Mr. Walker has been active in commercial and industrial land development in Utah, Idaho, and since 1986, in Colorado. He is currently a licensed Broker and a Certified General Appraiser in Colorado. Mr. Walker has held Brokers licenses in Utah and Idaho, as well as a General Contractors License in Utah. As owner and developer, Mr. Walker has developed residential and commercial subdivisions, apartment complexes, office buildings, mobile home parks, and storage facilities. As a consultant, Mr. Walker has advised leading national wireless telecommunications companies in acquiring and zoning hundreds of sites in many jurisdictions throughout Colorado. Mr. Walker provided commercial real estate advisory services for numerous FDIC/RTC controlled financial institutions during the S&L crisis. Services included commercial appraisal reviews, loan workout strategies, foreclosure, and management of REO properties, including nursing homes, mobile home parks, office buildings, retail centers, apartment complexes, and residential developments. At one time Mr. Walker, as manager of the REO department, managed a loan portfolio of two billion dollars.
