A bonafide Florida native, Richard Curtis was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Richard attended the University of Florida, receiving his AA degree in 1965. Anxious to begin his business career, Richard took his AA degree, entered the construction industry, and never looked back.
Richard's background is in construction, and he ran a successful sub-contracting business for 25 years. Subsequently, in 1993, Richard passed the rigorous State of Florida builders license examination on the first try, thus obtaining his State Certified Builders' License.
Richard worked from 1991-2007 for highly successful, and well respected, Tampa home builder, Bob Suarez. During his years with Bob, he served in many capacities, from estimator, to project manager and quality control inspector, to customer liason.
In 2007 Richard obtained his Florida Real Estate sales license. His "customer first" attitude has served him well throughout his professional career. This attitude has been instrumental to his success in serving his real estate clients since 2007.
Due to his extensive background in construction, Richard can often bring a perspective to the real estate transaction which many real estate agents cannot.
Put Richard's 40+ years of evaluating properties and contract negotiations to work for you.
