Jimmy is managing partner at Insight Property Group. He received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. After graduating, he moved back to Raleigh and began working for Mid-Atlantic Stihl Inc., an outdoor power equipment distributor, as an Operations Manager for approximately three years. He joined with his brother in 1997 to start Bikers Boulevard, a full-service Harley-Davidson motorcycle business, in Raleigh. His interest in commercial real estate led him to joining Mikels & Jones Properties in April of 2000 after earning his NC Real Estate Brokers license. Jimmy has concentrated on leasing and selling commercial properties in the Triangle area and providing tenant and landlord representation for various companies and owners. He has been involved in over $100 million dollars in real estate transactions. Jimmy and his wife Robin have a daughter, Reese, born in December of 2004. They attend Bayleaf Baptist Church in N. Raleigh. He enjoys spending time with his family at the beach and is a sportsman who enjoys golf, tennis, fishing, snow and water skiing and other various outdoor sports. Jimmy is active in the local Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors association and is currently seeking his CCIM designation.
