120,000 SF Merit Gear Industrial Facility

This has been the home of Merit Gear a fully integrated gearing, heat treating and gearbox assembly facility. The facility has several shop offices, rest rooms, clean rooms, exhaust systems RTU and areas for paint grinding and assembly areas. There is about 4600 sq' of central air-conditioned front offices, one central lunchroom. LED lights add to the brightness of the facility as well. The building started in 1950 they had six additions, 1995,1999,2002,2005 and 2008 for a total of 120,000 sq' under roof. Most of the concrete floors are 8" but there are places in the plant where they are 60" for heavier equipment.
