Retail Space in Safety Harbor at the Harborhouse Building

The Harborhouse Building is a charming, three-story commercial building located in downtown Safety Harbor. Safety Harbor is a quaint, historic town located on the mouth of Old Tampa Bay. Conveniently located between Tampa and Clearwater, Safety Harbor is home to the famous Safety Harbor Spa and Hotel. Originally built as the St. James Hotel, the Harborhouse Building was built in the mid 1920’s at the same time the Safety Harbor Spa was constructed. The building was crafted with a Mediterranean flair that is still unmistakable after its interior and exterior renovations, completed between 2004 and 2006. Renovations included a plaza with fountain and an airy, glassed lobby at the back of the building. The location at the corner of Main St. and Philippe Parkway serves as a centerpiece for the entrance to the historic downtown Safety Harbor, just a block from the marina on Tampa Bay.
