Brian Murphy joined Sitar Realty Company in 2011 as Vice President of Investments. Prior to joining Sitar, Brian was with a national real estate investment company and founded Like Kind Realty, a firm specializing in 1031 exchanges.
Mr. Murphy has sold over $300 million of retail, mixed-use, medical and flex space in Union, Middlesex, and Monmouth Counties. His transactions include the sale of a 70,000 sq. ft. shopping center, the sale of a 25,000 sq. ft. medical building, and the sale of a 36,000 sq. ft. flex building. He recently sold a 12,000 square foot office building in Ocean Township, NJ, leased a 27,000 square foot building to Shore Line Motors in West Long Branch, NJ, sold a 40,000 square foot shopping center in Vineland, NJ anchored by CVS and Sherwin Williams and leased 17,000 square feet of retail space to Dollar Tree in Carteret. He has held Series 7 & 63 Licenses for 20 years.
Brian volunteers helping children with special needs and is involved in animal rescue.
Brian is a licensed New Jersey real estate broker/salesperson. He attended Kean College in Union County, New Jersey.
